Thanks to Miss Kim for sharing with us a great website on which the children are allowed to create stories on their own. It is a story maker for kids by Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. “My Storymaker” was named one of the Best Websites for Teaching and Learning by the American Association of School Librarians, a division of the American Library Association (Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 2013). Erica, one of my friends actually posted this too last few days ago. She has posted some of the print screen photos unto her blog of the website which helps us to easily understand how it works.
There is a video in YouTube which clearly explains to you on how to use it and work it with children in class. It’s really a great tool to allow children in creating a great interactive story and can be useful in so many curriculum on many grade levels.
